Place a pot of water on the stove to boil pasta.
Once boiling, cook pasta according to box instructions.
In a saucepan lightly sauté your garlic until fragrant.
Then add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Whisk in cheese and pesto till smooth.
Bring back to a simmer and whisk in roux or slurry.
Sauce will thicken then taste and adjust salt to your liking.
